To maintain the performance of the seal, it is important to store your C-Safe unlatched. Leaving the unit unlatched releases the seal from the pressure applied by the high impact resistant latches.This allows the seal structure to retain its flexibility and compression response. Avoid leaving the C-Safe in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time when not in use.

Before closing your C-Safe ensure that the seal and seal housing are free from grit, sand and other items, as they might damage the C-Safe and prevent an effective seal being made.

Ensure you do not twist the internal hinge. The hinge is designed to be light and easy to use whilst taking the least amount of internal space which you require for storage. The hinge allows the case to be opened away from the body when being worn.
